Active Guard Flash Presentation (click & run)

The First Patrol System in the World Combining 3
Functions in 1 Device:
-
Guard Tour — The
Active Guard Patrol System enables full monitoring of mobile worker time and
attendance in Real Time. All data is transmitted through GSM networks.
-
Lone Worker —The PANIC button
allows immediate communication with the control room in case of emergency
tremendously improving the security of your employees.
-
Radio —The control room can
also keep Two Way Voice Communication with employees in order to reassure them
that assistance is at hand.
2 Way Voice Communication
-
Active Guard users cannot make a call to the control room
although they can let the operator know they need voice connection by pressing
“call me” button.
-
The monitoring station operator (and pre-programmed preset
numbers) can call Active Guard handsets anytime using the built in GSM phone
technology.
-
Each Active Guard unit is programmed to answer calls only from
defined phone numbers.
-
No need for check calls - ActiveGuard acts as a check call
system to verify the staff member is on-site.

Extracts from the Health & Safety Executive leaflet;
Working Alone In Safety
Controlling the risks of solitary work.
Although lone workers cannot be subject to constant supervision, it
is still an employer’s duty to ensure their health and safety at work. Lone
workers should not be at more risk than other employees and face particular
problems. Some of the issues which need special attention when planning safe
working arrangements are;
Procedures need to be put in place to monitor lone workers to see
they remain safe. These may include:
-
Supervisors periodically visiting and observing people working alone;
-
Regular contact between the lone worker and supervision using either a
telephone or radio;
-
Automatic warning devices which operate if specific signals are not
received periodically from the lone worker, e.g. systems for security
staff;
-
Other devices designed to raise the alarm in the event of an emergency and
which are operated manually or automatically by the absence of activity;
-
Checks that a lone worker has returned to their base or home on completion
of a task.
The Active Guard System covers 4 out 5 of
the above points laid out in the Health & Safety Executive leaflet, it is
therefore of paramount importance to consider the system for a lone worker,
particularly when many security guard duties carry a risk of violence.
